Meet your manager

Tom Kennedy is a healthy minded individual. He’s a people person who comes from a pharmacist family, thinks volunteering is part of the good life and has been active in fitness and sports for over 40 years. You might have already met Tom at running club, curling or just around town. If not, be sure to drop by the store and say hi.

Optical Manager

Kim Gamelin is excited to help Iqalummiut with their eye care needs, and brings over 25 years of experience in Ophthalmology/Optometry to Inuulisautinut Niuvirvik’s healthcare team. An outdoor lover new to the north, Kim welcomes every opportunity to explore the vast beauty of the land, water and sky, but it is the people she appreciates most.

Pharmacy Manager

Nidhi Choksi is passionate about patient care and believes that remote communities deserve more than “just the necessities.” So, she’s a perfect fit for Inuulisautinut Niuvirvik’s full-service, full-wellness approach. In her spare time, Nidhi looks after her own physical and mental health by working out—yoga, essentrics, HIIT, running, swimming and Zumba. Iqaluit has been her home for two years now, and she loves learning more about Inuit culture and traditions. As she says, “This place never fails to mesmerize me.”
