Kim Gamelin is excited to help Iqalummiut with their eye care needs, and brings over 25 years of experience in Ophthalmology/ Optometry to Inuulisautinut Niuvirvik’s healthcare team. An outdoor lover new to the north, Kim welcomes every opportunity to explore the vast beauty of the land, water and sky, but it is the people she appreciates most.

Joleeza Shirley is driven by her passion to learn and help educate everyone in the community of the importance of eye care. She joined the Inuulisautinut Niuvirvik’s Optical team in the summer of 2022. Joleeza loves getting outside and exploring the land, learning about the culture and meeting new people. Iqaluit is her second Northern community she has had the pleasure of working in and has enjoyed every minute of it.
