Simple Cheese Fondue
Cheese fondue is a fun and loving treat to prepare for your loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
Here is how to make it on the stove top without needing a fondue pot.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded cheese, try to use 2 types
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- Optional: 2 tablespoons white wine or beer
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, optional OR 1 clove fresh garlic, chopped
PREPARATION
- In a medium pot, bring the chicken broth to a low boil.
- Add the cheese slowly in handfuls. Stir constantly.
- When the cheese is melted add the optional garlic.
- Slowly add the wine/beer(optional) and corn starch.
- Stirring constantly, bring to a low boil for 2 minutes or until the cheese sauce is thickened.
- Serve with pieces of bread and sliced apple, and cooked meat or fish.
