Plant Based Lasagna Skillet Casserole

This recipe uses instant plant-based ground beef which cuts cooking time and clean up time in half!

Plant Based Lasagna Skillet Casserole

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bag or box pasta (about 400 grams)
  • 1 can or jar (about 680 mL) pasta sauce
  • 1 package (about 340 grams) plant-based ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese or non-dairy shreds
  • 4 cups fresh baby spinach, rinsed (optional)

PREPARATION

  1. Bring a large pot of water up to a boil.
  2. Add the noodles. Stir occasionally.
  3. Once the noodles are almost done, drain and place back into the pot.
  4. Stir in the pasta sauce, the package of plant-based ground beef, and the optional baby spinach.
  5. Place the lid, bring up to a low boil and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheese or the shreds. Serve.
