Peanut Butter & Banana French Toast
An easy recipe that kids can help make. If you thought French toast could not get any better, try it stuffed with sweet bananas and salty peanut butter. This is perfect for breakfast or brunch.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons peanut butter
- 4 bananas, thinly sliced
- 12 slices bread, preferably whole wheat
- 1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil
PREPARATION
- In a medium bowl, lightly beat together the egg, milk, and cinnamon.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter onto 6 slices of bread and then top with sliced bananas.
- Place the other slice of bread on top of the first, and gently press down.
- In a skillet or frying pan, heat some vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Carefully dunk a sandwich into the egg mixture while holding it together.
- Then place the sandwich into the heated frying pan.
- Cook until both sides are golden brown. Repeat for the remaining sandwiches.
- To keep warm, put cooked French toast on a cookie sheet and place in the oven on low heat.
