Banana Bread Overnight Oats

This breakfast recipe smells like fresh baked banana bread. It is packed with wholesome ingredients that will leave you feeling satisfied for longer.

Banana Bread Overnight Oats

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups plain oats
  • ½ cup nut butter or nut butter alternative
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts or chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
  • Maple syrup, to your taste

PREPARATION

  • Place the oats in a container.
  • Stir in 1 cup of milk and the nut butter.
  • Add the remaining milk, hemp hearts/chia seeds and cinnamon.
  • Stir until combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • To reheat a portion, microwave or warm in a pot on the stove. Add more milk to your liking.
  • Top with sliced banana, chopped nuts/seeds and a drizzle of maple syrup.
